About Volunteer Rides

The purpose of Volunteer Rides is to provide safe and reliable transportation for deserving individuals within the community. By partnering with collision shops, insurance companies, salvage yards, and parts vendors, Volunteer Rides is able to give the special gift of transportation to a person or family in need. Labor to fix the cars is donated by autobody technicians, and paint is donated by Akzo Nobel. Volunteer Rides presents refurbished cars during the Holiday season to coincide with:

The History of Volunteer Rides

Volunteer Rides is a local charity and was established in 2016 by Jeff Mynatt. Jeff is a native Knoxvillian, currently living in Hallsand attends Corryton Church. The organization gave away 3 cars in 2016and 4 cars in 2017. We have also been able to provide $500 worth of insurance to each recipient. We partner with charities so that the charity canselect the person or family in need. We ar a 501-c3 charirty organization that relies 100% on donations from companies and individuals like you.

How Volunteer Rides Helps the Person Receiving The Vehicle
